Prior to co-founding Ro, Rob was the VP of Growth and the first marketing employee at Bark (NYSE:BARK), makers of BarkBox. Rob has been in the domain and digital asset industry for over a decade, is a fully certified domain nerd and is @rob on Twitter.

1. Domain Assessment
The first step is a free assessment of your desired domain name. We’ll then perform cursory research on the viability of acquisition.
2. Owner Research
If we believe the domain can be acquired, we’ll dive into research phase to learn more about the domain owner using proprietary tools and industry comp data.
3. Negotiation
After thorough research, we’ll establish contact with the domain owner and we’ll negotiate based on a price that you’re comfortable with. Your identity remains confidential during negotiations.
4. Domain Transfer
We help facilitate the domain transfer. Funds are released to the seller through Escrow only after you confirm ownership of the domain.

1. Evaluation
We start by assessing the domain name and recent comparable sales to understand its value, along with the likelihood of selling the name.
2. Pricing
Based on our experience, we’ll suggest a target and floor price for the domain. We’ll also align on an exclusivity period to represent the asset.
3. Contract
Once the deal terms are finalized, we’ll send a DocuSign to formalize the process.
4. Listing
Post signature, our team will move to the research and marketing phase to build interest in the name. As offers that meet your criteria come in, we’ll present them to you for consideration.
5. Closing
Once a deal has been accepted, we’ll walk both parties through the Escrow and domain transfer process to ensure a smooth transaction.
